Password expiration feature is inactive by default in GMO Sign. Users with administrator role, can define user’s passwords to expire after a certain time duration (such as 14 or 30 days), if needed for compliance reasons.
Password Expiry Alert – If you set password expiration days, users will obtain notification alerts in their GMO Sign account. The alert starts 14 days before the date of password expiry. Users have the choice to either change their security password before the password expiration date or close the alert. Once the password gets expired, it becomes compulsory to reset the password to log into GMO Sign. |
How to Activate / Enable Password Expiry?
1. Log into your GMO Sign account as an administrator role.
2. From left hand side menu, click on Admin Panel >> Login Options. [Video Preview]
3. Activate the toggle button and mention no. of days for password expiry.
Note – The number of days for password expiration should be more than 14 but less than 365 days. |
4. At last, click on Save to enforce the changes in all user accounts linked with your admin profile.
