GMO Sign users have access to a feature, which ensures only authorized users have access to the document for signing. A requestor can set a secret access code at the time of creating signature request. Application asks signers to enter this secret code. A signer cannot access (or sign) the document until he or she does not enter the associated access code.
Append Access Code at the time of Creating Workflow Request
The access code attribute is present in ‘Input Signer Contents’ window. Select Set your own code radio button and enter the secret code in respective field. Rest, continue with completion of signature request. [Video Preview]
Note – This feature is only available for electronic signatures. In case of digital signatures, a user needs to login using GMO Sign account, and hence the access to the document is authorized at that step.
How Admin Can Make it Mandatory for all Requestors
It is possible for GMO Sign administrators to mandate access code feature through Admin Panel. This would be reflected in all users' account associated with the Admin, ensuring an additional security layer while sending the workflow request. Administrators simply have to enable this feature by navigating towards Admin Panel page >> Sign Requests >> Activate the toggle button of Access code. [Video Preview]

Now onwards, when a user (with any role; say - DocumentManager+Signer) would create a workflow request, he have to add a security code in the workflow request. He cannot proceed without entering this value. Later, requestor must inform this code to signer(s) in a secretive manner. [Video Preview]
How Does Access Code Works at Signer’s End?
No separate notification email for access code is sent to signer(s). Requestor must inform secret code to signers in a discreet manner.
While signing the document, signer will be asked to enter access code. He or she has to enter it to begin with document signing. [Video Preview]
