GMO Sign users have access to a feature, which ensures only authorized users have access to the document for signing. A requestor can set a secret access code at the time of creating signature request. Application asks signers to enter this secret code. A signer cannot access (or sign) the document until he or she does not enter the associated access code.
How to Apply Access Code? (For Requestors)
The access code attribute is present in ‘Input Signer Contents’ window. Enter the secret code in respective field and continue with completion of signature request. [Video Preview]
Note – This feature is only available for electronic signatures. In case of digital signatures, a user needs to login using GMO Sign account, and hence the access to the document is authorized at that step.
How Does Access Code Works at Signer’s End?
No separate notification email for access code is sent to signer. Requestor must inform secret code to signers in a discreet manner.
While signing the document, signer will be asked to enter access code. He or she has to enter it to begin with document signing. [Video Preview]
