We have launched a utility in Microsoft Power Automate platform named as GMO Sign Connector. The purpose is to link GMO Sign with a SaaS application powered by Microsoft to automate workflow processes.
Extra Tip : Power Automate has been provided by Microsoft for services related to the workflow. It is an RPA, which automates regular operations based upon commands. |
With the help of this integration, customers can utilize GMO Sign connector for execution of following tasks :
- Send workflows via existing template in GMO Sign
- Track the status of workflow
- Archive / store / download signed documents online or offline
Instructions to use GMO Sign Connector Utility
- At an early stage, customer has to acquire Power Automate subscription from GMO Sign. For this, please contact our sales representative.
- Customer needs to share the Customer ID and Organization ID (present in GMO Sign profile) with our executive.
- GMO Sign sales executive would be providing the respective client a secret key that would be required for activation of GMO Sign connector in MS Power Automate platform.
Send a Workflow via GMO Sign Template
Prerequisite - Create a template with defining of each parameter, which is required in a workflow like Template Name, Signer details, document(s), signature position, etc. You need to create this template in the account whose Organization ID has been shared to achieve Power Automate subscription from GMO Sign. |
(1) Login to MS Power Automate account and click on My Flows >> New Flow. Select the type of flow that suits your business needs.
(2) Mention the flow name in respective field and Choose the trigger point when the workflow needs to be triggered. Suppose for now, we choose Manually trigger a flow option.
(3) Click on New step to launch Choose an operation screen and here, search for GMO Sign. Select Send a new envelope using a specified template option. We are choosing this option to create a new workflow; you can use another action for your purpose.
(4) This opens a screen where you have to enter details related to source template (Available in your GMO Sign account). The information requires template ID, Envelope Name, Trigger, Signer Name, etc.
(5) Fill in the complete data as requested on the current screen and then, click on Save button. Also, it is possible to cross check the workflow by clicking on Test button, present at top-right menu of your screen.
Now, trigger the workflow to see the result and if everything goes well, signers and requestor would be receiving their own set of emails - notifying that GMO Sign has successfully sent the documents for request.
Note - Optionally, you can set further operation to download the signed file by using GMO Sign connector (Get envelope documents) . If nothing is defined, the signed file would be in GMO Sign account portal as usual.
