Finally, we have an option to change the default format of date field from the Admin Panel. These changes would reflect in following scenarios :
- At the time of placing date field for sender / signer
- At signer's end while signing the document(s), and
- In the signed document(s)
How to Customize the Default Date Format?
(1) Login to your GMO Sign Admin account and go to Admin Panel.
(2) Navigate towards Sign Request >> Customize the Date format.
(3) From the drop-down menu, select the format you want to set as default for your organization. And at last, click on Save button to update the changes. [Video Preview]
How Does the Changes Reflect?
Suppose we choose DD MMM YYYY format from the Admin Panel settings. Now create a workflow request and proceed till the Placing Signature Position page. Here, drag and drop the date field for target signer at the dedicated location; and you'll notice the Admin's specified date format appearing by default. Also, being a requestor of the workflow, you also have right to change this format by using the drop-down menu. [Video Preview]
Simply select the required format that matches your company's policy (additionally, you can add date field for requestor and use same facility as of signer), and proceed with sending of signature request.
Note - A workflow requestor also have the right to change the default date format (set by Administrator) from the present drop-down list. |
Now the signer would be able place date value simply through the attached calendar. And then, the same format of date would appear in final signed file(s). [Video Preview]
